2. Signing IN & Signing OUT Procedure for Parents to Follow:

Stage 1: What to do when you first arrive at the Hastings High School:

Please follow this procedure when arriving at Hastings High School;

1.    The school has placed cones in every other car space to help with social distancing. When possible try only to park in the spaces provided. If space is unavailable then please park near the field.

2.    When you first arrive please look out for our Sporting Dreams staff member near the car park/sports hall/tennis courts with a clipboard.

3.    Please approach them and give your child’s name. If you cannot see the staff member then continue to step 4 and head to the classrooms which you can find by reading below.

4.    If you see our staff member he/she will tell you which classroom to head to for registration. The classrooms are next to the tennis courts which can be found by walking down the left side of the building. We will be using 3 separate mobile classrooms at the back of the building. Look out for the Sporting Dreams Holiday Banner. Each classroom will have around 13 children in each with seating 1-2 meters apart. Also in each classroom will be hand washing facilities, hand sanitizer, hand drying paper towels, surface cleaning antibacterial/detergent and a box of tissues for catch it, kill it, bin it.

Stage 2: How to sign in and register your child in the morning:

Registration form/details:

Before you arrive you will have already sent your registration details via text or email to Darren Hill at Sporting Dreams. If it’s your very first time at Sporting Dreams then please complete a registration form which gives permission for promotional photo’s, use of plasters etc.

A copy of the registration form will also be emailed to you to fill out / print off and return on your first day. Spare copies of the registration form will also be available on the signing in desk in each classroom. Please take a copy and complete it at home and return when you collect your child. We do not want parents hanging around filling out forms so it’s more appropriate to take them away and complete.

Stage 3: Signing-IN Procedure for Parents to Follow:

This process should only take 30seconds.

1.    Parents will be encourage to bring their own pen to sign in/out their child, but pens will be available for any parent who does not have their own pen. Each pen will be whip-down with antibacterial whips after each use.

2.    Parents will queue 2meters apart outside of the designated classroom/registration point.

3.    The Sporting Dreams staff member will be standing with a clipboard (list of children attending), next to a desk outside of the classroom. They will ask the parent for the child’s name and then tick them off as arrived. They will also check their payment and medical details.

4.    The Sporting Dreams staff member will ask each parent to sanitize their hands before signing their child in on the signing-in sheet which will be on a separate clipboard on the desk. Hand sanitizer will be available to parents and children on the signing in desk. The signing-in sheet will ask the parent to write the child’s name, DOB, mobile, amount paid, photo permission and medical details.

5.    Because of limited space, we would prefer parents not to enter the classroom, so after signing-in, parents can say their goodbyes outside and then tell their child to go do three jobs: These are;

Kids Job1: After signing-in, children will be asked to go sit on one of the designated chairs in the classroom.

Kids Job2: Children will place their lunch bags under their                 chair and will be asked to;

             Go wash their hands with soap and water and dry them with                            the paper towels provided.

Kids Job3: Children will then go back and sit on their chair and wait for registration to finish which should take 10-15minutes. When available cartoons will be placed on the projector to keep them entertained while other parents sign-in.

After all parents have signed their children in, each class group will 1.Introduced to and welcomed by their coach for the day. 2.Children will watch a short video about cleanliness and hygiene. 3.Explained the format of the day. 4.Explained the toilet procedure. 5. Split into teams/age groups. 6.Lessons Begin.

Stage 4: Sign-Out & Collection Procedure:

This process is similar to the signing-in and should only take 30seconds.

1.    Parents can collect their child from 3pm to 3.30pm.

2.    Children will be sat in their classroom from 3pm watching a cartoon or doing an activity whilst waiting for their parents. Children will be encouraged to get their belongings together ready for their parents.

3.    Parents will queue 2meters apart outside of the designated classroom/registration point where they signed-in during the morning.

4.    The Sporting Dreams staff member will be standing with a clipboard (list of children attending), next to a desk outside of the classroom. They will ask the parent for the child’s name and then tick them off as they are collected.

5.    The Sporting Dreams staff member will call out the child’s name and tell them to get their belongings and that their parent has arrived.

6.    The Sporting Dreams staff member will ask each parent to sanitize their hands before signing their child out on the signing-in/out sheet which will be on a separate clipboard on the desk. Hand sanitizer will be available to parents and children on the signing in desk.

7.    Once again because of limited space, we would prefer parents not to enter the classroom, so after signing-out, parents can wait in a space outside the classroom standing 2meters away from others, and wait for their child to come out of the classroom.

8.    If the weather is nice Children and staff might be outside on the playground while the children have free-play. If this is the case then parents will queue up next to the tennis courts and wait for the Sporting Dreams staff to ask them for their child’s name and then sign them out.
