Our extended school hour’s provision service’s incorporates before school, lunch-time, after school, weekends and holidays. We also provide services and courses for the wider community. The government’s vision is that extended schools will provide a range of services and activities, often beyond the school day, to help meet the needs of children, their families and the wider community.

The extended school hour’s services include quality 'wraparound' childcare provided on the school site or through other local providers (e.g. Sporting Dreams Coaching), which will be available 8am-6pm, all year round. Other services include a varied menu of activities on offer, such as homework clubs and study support, sport or music tuition, support (including information sessions for parents), swift and easy referral to a wide range of specialist support services, and the provision of wider community access to ICT, sports and arts facilities, including adult learning.

•Lunch Time Sports ActivitiesThere are a variety of ways in which we can organize lunchtime activity/sports clubs. They can range from organizing activities for a selected group (10-20 children), through to a whole year group (20-60 children). Please call the hotline for further details
•Breakfast Arts/Craft & Sports Activities (7.30am to 9am)Our breakfast programs have been a real success in getting children to school, and giving them a healthy start to the day. Many schools have viewed the breakfast programs as a way of encouraging children to live healthier active lifestyles.
•After School Arts & Craft Clubs (3pm-8pm)Our Arts and crafts after school clubs allows children the opportunity to develop their creativity through many different methods including; Drawing, colouring, cutting, painting, building, sticking, sawing, moulding, using fabrics, different materials, making mobiles, working in small teams on a project, designing. We teach children to open their minds and use their imagination.
•After School Sports Clubs (3pm-8pm)We have a wide variety of after-school sports coaching and activity programs designed for children at each key stage. They range from 6 to 12 week programs with each child receiving an end of course attendance certificate, along with a chance of winning some special merit awards for their efforts shown in competitions and skills sessions. Awards will also be presented for fair play and positive attitudes. Our programs can cover specific sports such as a 6week tag rugby course or we can combine sports to offer children a Multi-Sports club. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

•Holiday Activity Clubs (10am-3pm)We can offer children Professional Football Coaching Courses and Multi-Sports Activity courses. These programs are run during half terms and holidays and are open to boys and girls of all abilities aged 4-15years old. Courses usually take place at one school within a community, but children from other schools are also allowed to attend. Courses are usually paid for by the parents which ranges from £10-£16 for a 2day course. A register of attendance is taken each day and the children are then split into their appropriate age groups (years 1&2, 3&4, 5&6). •Multi-Sports Activity Courses (10am-3pm)During our multi-sports activity courses children will learn fun skills in Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, Tag-Rugby, Football, Hockey, TRI-GOLF & Athletics plus load more sports. The FUN filled environment will allow children to develop their key motor skills including their coordination and balance. Children will develop passing, shooting, dribbling, controlling skills in a variety of sports. Children will also enjoy the fun activities designed to develop their awareness of space of other players. Children’s social skills will also be developed within the fun filled learning environment.
•Professional Football Coaching Course 2-5days (10am-3pm)Our Soccer Dreams development programs provide children with the opportunity to learn from the basic skills of football through to the more advanced technical and strategic skills. Each course is run by qualified FA coaches who are experienced in working with, and bringing out the best in children. Each course will focus on developing skills such as; passing, dribbling, controlling and shooting. Promoting Fair Play and good sportsmanship. These courses are open to boys and girls of all abilities aged 4-16years old. Each child is placed in their own age group. In the morning seminars children will be coached 2 or 3 new skills during fun games and coaching drills. In these seminars each child will develop their skills and techniques as well as being encouraged and building confidence to use their new skills in World Cup matches played in the afternoon. The activities are designed to accommodate all ages and abilities with FUN and ENJOYMENT as the focus of each day. Children can also look forward in taking part in PENALTY SHOOTOUTS and the COACHES CHALLENGE where they could win trophies and awards for their efforts.
•Adult learning and skills for life development programs/centresSporting Dreams is not just a provider for young people to get involved with sport but we can also provide opportunities for adults and their families to get involved. These programs vary from adult only programs to parents and their children programs. Our program and activities are designed for young people and their families. These may included:

•Youth offending and inclusion programs:The aim of our youth inclusions programs is to prevent offending and re-offending by children and young adults through the use of sport. Sport can be used as a positive means of channelling aggression, developing a sense of community & belonging, developing responsibility and respect for others, developing teamwork. Over the past few years we have looked forward to working with local authorities, police, Probation Service, social services, health, education services to help and support youth offending and social inclusion.
